In keeping with our Active School motto – “Walk, run, jump or skip, Come on Piercestown, Let’s get fit!’ – one of the first activities for the new school year took place on 19^th September, with the return of ‘Skippy John’. The children were delighted to welcome him back for another fun-filled day of skipping for everyone. There was simple skipping, partner skipping, group skipping and even ‘pretzel skipping’. Each class had their own session of skipping and the day ended with a whole school demonstration. Check out these videos for a flavour of the fun that was had!
