There’s a nip in the air, the leaves are turning golden and it’s that time of year for planting bulbs. Every year each child in the school plants a daffodil bulb. This year our day of planting took place on Wednesday 24th October and we were delighted to have Hugh and Mary Barrett back to help us out on the day. Our 6th class pupils are once again taking part in ‘The Crocus Project’. They planted yellow crocuses in the shape of the Star of David to remember all the children who died in the Holocaust. In spring our daffodils and crocuses will brighten our days after the cold, dark winter months!
