Football season is under way at Piercestown N.S. with both boys and girls preparing to take to the pitches of Wexford and participate in the Rackard League tournament with their companions from Murrintown N.S.

Boys take to their own pitch to take on Coolcotts this week on Tuesday Sept 15th at 3.15pm.

Girls fixtures to be confirmed.

This year sees a change also, with the mini sevens football being played in the first school term. Kick off for mini sevens for boys is Mon 28th Sept. and girls is Tues 29th.

Many thanks to Ms. Hearne for giving up her time voluntarily to train the girls!

With both football and rounders taking off this week, Piercestown is quickly making its way towards being an ‘Active School’.
