Junior and Senior Infants · Read a story/book · Write a sentence or two/three (Senior Infants) and draw a picture about ‘My Day off in the Snow’
1st/2nd Class · Read a story/book · Write a diary entry and draw a picture about ‘My Day off in the Snow’ · Write two Maths problems about the snow, e.g. Ms. Walsh threw 13 snowballs and Mrs. Corrigan threw 17. How many did they throw altogether? · Complete the Wednesday section in your Mental Maths book

· Read a chapter of a book/novel · Write a diary entry about ‘My Day off from School in the Snow’ · Complete an acrostic poem on ‘SNOWFLAKES’ i.e. write the letters down vertically and come up with a snow related word for each letter e.g. Soft, Nice, Outside….etc. · Complete the Wednesday section in your Mental Maths book · Revise tables/spellings (if applicable) · Gaeilge – Write a few sentences about the snow.
