After a Trojan effort, the boys from Murrintown and Piercestown defeated St. Anne’s Rathangan to march on to a Rackard League final this Thurs 1st June at 8pm in St. Patrick’s Park Enniscorthy versus Barntown.

It was a nail biting semi final with both teams reluctant to admit defeat. But there can only be one winner and with a final score of 3-11 to 3-8 St. Martin’s emerged victorious on the day.

Best of luck to the boys of Murrintown and Piercestown. Huge thanks to Mr. Murphy and Mr. White for all their efforts to date. We are very excited about the final!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if you are free Thursday night, Patrick’s Park 8pm is the place to be!!!

Hard luck to Ms. Hearne, Ms. Butler and the girls from Piercestown and Murrintown who were pipped at the post for a place in the final by Bunclody. The girls had featured in the football final earlier in the year so have done themselves proud this year. Well done to the girls!
