4th class hosted their very own ‘Bake Sale’ last Wednesday. This idea came from the children, in particular Sinéad Cullen, to raise funds as a result of a social media and news campaign on behalf of an Irish teenager who is raising funds for lifesaving treatment. Sinéad brought her idea to the class teacher and the ‘bake sale’ grew from there.
Well done to the boys and girls for taking the initiative and to Ms. Lyttleton for facilitating them to do so.
The ‘bake sale’ raised a grand total of €618.42 towards the Shauntelle Tynan fundraiser. Well done Sinéad Cullen and all in 4th class. Your generosity and good will are to be commended.
