In keeping with DES regulations, standardised literacy and numeracy testing will take place in May 2016. It is essential for assessment purposes that ALL children be present for these tests. These specific standardised tests include 1^st class to 6^th class.

Last year, a number of children were absent due to holidays.Therefore, we would like to give substantial notice to people so that if at all possible they can avoid booking holidays during this testing period.

Standardised testing will take place on May 17^th and May 19^th 2016.

Please put these important dates into your diary/calendar.

Obviously, if children are sick this is an exception to the rule.
