Maths activities got off to a great start this morning in 4th class with Ms. Lyttleton.
Accompanied by Mrs. Foran, Ms. Walsh and a selection of parent volunteers, the class got stuck in to a circuit of maths activities that will go towards enhancing and fine tuning their mathematical ways of thinking.
From activities such as cards, pentominoes, tangrams, numbers, connect four to name but a few their was a wonderful buzz as the children worked together this morning to compete and come up with many solutions to the problems and games.
The ‘Mad about Maths’ sessions will continue in 4th class until the October mid term break.
Many thanks to the 4th class parents who volunteered today and for the next few weeks.
If you didn’t get a chance to volunteer today and have a Wednesday morning from 9.30-10.30am free, don’t hesitate to join us!
