Many thanks to Dan Redmond for collecting the Christmas Food Appeal from Piercestown National School yesterday.

It is lovely to see the children being so generous and aware of others less fortunate than they are.

The countdown is on with just 2 more sleeps to the Christmas holidays. This year once again sees the Mini Bazaar take place on Thurs. 22nd at 12pm as soon as the children get their holidays. This will take place in the Scout Hall helping the children to start their Christmas holidays.

There will be lucky dips, bottle stands, chocolate stands, cake stall, novelty Christmas Crafts and much more!

The Mini Bazaar will open to parents at 11am ! All Welcome.

Many thanks to Piercestown Parents’ Association for organising this much loved event!

A reminder that our  nighttime Christmas Carol Service 2016 will take place Tues 20th Dec. at 7pm.

The children are asked to be there at 6.45pm and to congregate  outside the vestry and they will be escorted into their place.

We look forward to seeing you there and taking some time out to enjoy the festive season!

Last year’s response to the Lions Club ‘Christmas Food Appeal’ was a great success!

So with the Season of Goodwill upon us, we once again ask you to donate any non-perishable items.

We have boxes beside our crib as you enter the school. The deadline is Fri 16th December. 

Many thanks to all who have donated so far.

An expression of interest form for the setting up of a Homework Club 3-6pm Mon -Fri has gone home with all children in their school bag today.

If there is a take up – homework club will start from Jan 2017.
