Seachtain na Gaeilge 2017 is in full flight at Scoil Náisiúnta Baile an Phiarsaigh – over the coming days, we will by hearing the cúpla focail coming from every angle in the school.

To add to the appreciation and enjoyment of our Irish language and Culture, we will be host to a Lá Gaeilge this Wednesday 15th March.

All of the children are invited to wear Irish colours on this day and we will have a day full of ‘craic agus ceoil’.

There will be a ‘Gadái Gaelach’ on the loose all week and the children will be trying to find him/her each day. First person, back to the office to say ‘Fuair mé an Gadaí Gaelach’ – will win a prize! Only Ms. Walsh and the gadaí gaelach themselves will know who it is!

So remember … Is fearr gaeilge briste ná Béarla Cliste’.

Bain taitneamh as an seachtain!
